Additional responsibilities include tenant relations, maximizing occupancy levels, and maintaining property value.Daily tasks include management of financial matters, coordinating maintenance work, enforcing leases, and preparing performance reports.Responsibilities:Leadership and accountability for all property operationsPreparing and managing budgetsAttracting new tenants through advertising, property viewings, and encouraging referralsInterviewing tenants and running credit checksSetting rental rates, negotiating, and enforcing lease agreementsAddressing tenant complaints and inspecting vacated unitsContracting and supervising repairs and maintenance workCollecting rent, dealing with late payments, and handling operating expensesMaintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.Preparing reports on the financial performance of propertiesTerminating leases and initiating eviction proceedingsManagement of all property staffRequirementsHigh school diploma/GED.Real estate, property management, business administration or a related field studies preferred.3+ years of experience as a property manager preferredExperience with larger communities and 55+ active adult communities highly preferred.Working knowledge of property regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.Understanding of marketing and accounting principles.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
