JOB SUMMARY The Property Support Specialist performs four critical functions: (1) Distressed Property Assistance, (2) Understaffed Property Coverage, (3) Property Acquisitions Assistance and (4) Graphic and Marketing Collateral Needs of the Company. This position is a remote role that may require some travel and will be utilized across the entire portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Distressed Property Assistance
    • Perform onsite property audit to identify deficiencies and, in conjunction with the VP of Property Operations and Regional Property Manager, create a plan to resolve.
    • Assist in leasing, marketing and outreach efforts.
    • Train onsite team.
    • Assist in redeploying company policies, procedures and best practices that may not have been followed previously.
  • Understaffed Property Assistance/Coverage
    • Fill in for key office positions that are open when sites are in need of additional assistance or coverage. Work can range from Leasing Professional tasks to Community Manager tasks.
  • Property Acquisition Assistance
    • Perform lease file audits.
    • Assist with contract organization and collection.
    • Organize community at time of acquisition.
    • Train onsite team.
    • Assist with day-to-day operations until team is fully onboarded.
  • Training
    • In conjunction with the Education and Development Manager, assist with the ongoing training with the teams.
    • Host quarterly leasing training in rotation locations.
    • Analyze and research properties categorized in yellow and red to determine areas for improvement; leasing, marketing, follow-up, leadership, financial, etc.
    • Perform onsite audits and train teams to correct identified deficiencies.
    • Supporting the employee on an on-going basis on any needs or questions they might have as they learn operations/sales.
    • Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS *** Licensed Realtors or Brokers: It is against company policy to practice while employed by Trilogy. Active licenses must be placed on hold and not used if employed by Trilogy. ***
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Community Manger.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all onsite office roles.
  • CPM or CAM preferred.
  • Proficient with YARDI, RentCafe, CRM, Power Point, Video Editing Software and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Company policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to train, develop, lead and mentor.
  • Thorough understanding of financials and budget writing.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven self-starter.
  • Extremely computer literate with a knack for technology.
  • Significant travel required.
Salary: $60,000-$70,000 Various benefits are available: Continuous training, paid holidays, paid time off, 401k, housing discount and medical benefits.
