We are looking for a Property Tax Accountant to support our leased assets businesses primarily and assist with all our other customers in various industries. This position will be reporting to our Orlando, FL office and will work a hybrid work model.

Financial Tax Services team partners with our customers to ensure compliance cycle is completed in a cost effective, accurate and timely manner. Our services for both internal and external customers include timely property tax filings and payments to jurisdictions, consulting, audit management, and assessment reviews. This position supports a group of customers with their complete property tax compliance activities, audit support, and customer support as well as coordinating activities with other teams within the organization.

You'll make a difference by:

* Completing compliance activities to ensure GBS Tax complies with customer's Service Level Agreements.

* Addressing and resolving all customer's questions and concerns.

* Recommending and following through process changes that reduce potential exposure

* Supporting tax partner to complete the day-to-day work activities related to external audits to ensure the audit cycle is completed in a cost effective, accurate, and timely manner.

* Providing accrual reserve and analysis recommendations to the customers as requested or within the scope the Service Level Agreement.

* Preparing all property tax account reconciliations as required or within the scope of the Service Level Agreement.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years of public/private US corporate tax experience.

* Technical knowledge of local, state, and federal property tax laws and regulations, including property valuation and tax assessment processes.

* Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)

* Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's degree from an accredited institution

* 5+ years' experience in property tax especially lease assets

* Familiarity or experience lease assets business and property tax regulations

* Ability to perform tax and accounting research and apply sound business judgment.

* Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel

* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

The pay range for this position $65,660 - $112,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
