Proposal Specialist
Position: Onboarding & Proposal Specialist Location: Galleria area, Houston, TX
Our client in the Galleria area of Houston is seeking a versatile and experienced Onboarding & Proposal Specialist to support both their recruitment and business development functions. This hybrid role requires a candidate with strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, capable of managing the onboarding process for new hires while also leading proposal development efforts. The position requires full-time, in-office presence and the flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires in collaboration with key executives and decision-makers.
- Conduct presentations and effectively communicate with a diverse range of employees, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Manage pre-hire responsibilities, ensuring all onboarding documentation and processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Organize and coordinate onboarding sessions, including scheduling and managing guest speakers.
- Update and deliver onboarding materials, including presentation decks and resources for new hires.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries and issues.
Proposal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executives and department leads to develop and submit compelling, accurate, and timely proposals.
- Coordinate all aspects of the proposal process, from gathering content and formatting to ensuring compliance with RFP (Request for Proposal) requirements.
- Develop and prepare proposal presentations, including PowerPoint slides and supporting documents.
- Organize proposal kickoff meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Research and gather relevant information to craft high-quality, customized proposals that meet client expectations.
- Coordinate with various teams, including marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all proposal materials.
- Ensure consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail in all written materials, ensuring they meet brand and client standards.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in onboarding, pre-hire processes, and proposal development.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and communicate with diverse audiences, from new hires to executives.
- Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and other relevant software tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
