Salary: $22.00/hrEmployment: Full Time/12 Month, 37.50 hours per week, Monday through FridayPurpose:To assist PROS clients with preparing and seeking successful volunteer work, education/training and employment in the community.Key Functions:• Takes a lead role in developing relationships with employers in the community to foster possible partnerships in placing consumers in competitive employment.• To assist consumers with learning the skills (Interviewing, job searching and job preparation) necessary to find competitive employment in the community.• Provide proper documentation of all recorded visits and work done on behalf of consumer via case notes.• Assist consumers in developing an individual vocational rehabilitation plan that includes on going assessment of progress and needs.• Serves as an agency representative to professional associations and other organizations that offer job networking opportunities.• Collaborates with Employment Consultants after placement of consumers to enhance job retention.• Models effective team work and contribute to the success of program and management teams.• Assists in the development of appropriate marketing tools to support job development, job placement and job retention activities.• Develops and facilitates job readiness training and other mental health recovery workshops.• Maintains contact with consumers on a regular basis to encourage participation and follow though on all job development activities.• Develops and coordinates in-house volunteer opportunities, and offers training to clients starting their volunteer positions. Facilitates connections between clients and volunteer opportunities in the community.• Promotes connections to education and training resources, including Acces-VR, REOC, Greece Community Education, BOCES, etc.• Develops Structured Skill Development projects by generating ideas, estimating costs and securing materials.• Carries ORS clients on their caseload as needed and provides offsite counseling and support.• Advise clients on benefits management issues and budgeting.• Acts as liaison between clients and community-based resources (i.e., case managers and rep payees).• Adhere to Company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance of Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct.Responsible for maintaining required certifications and licenses.Values: Demonstrates the organization's values• Customer Service• Communications• Continuous Improvement• Collaboration/Teamwork• AccountabilityEducation, Experience, Skills and/or Licensing/Certification Required:Associates Degree in Human Services or Business or marketing or a High School Diploma with a minimum of three years' experience in Mental Health, counseling and job coaching.This position requires a valid New York State driver's license, safe driving record and use of reliable personal vehicle required for local travel for businesspurposes.Supervisory Responsibility:•NonePhysical Requirements:•Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.Minimum Salary: 22.00 Maximum Salary: 22.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
