Full-time, 35 hours/weekNOT remoteFull-time position in Protective Services Unit of Elder Services Agency. Duties include intake, investigation, service plans and monitoring cases of abuse and neglect of elders. Requires home visits, knowledge of community resources, ability to work with families, case writing, record keeping and word processing skills. Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation and be available for rotating on-call duties. Excellent benefits package.Minimum Qualifications:Masters or higher degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, and at least one year of experience in counseling, casework, case management, preferably in a Protective Services or crisis intervention role; or (b) A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, and at least two years of experience in counseling, casework or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services.Must be able to climb multiple flight of stairsTravel reimbursement is $0.62/mileLSW preferred.Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)If you are employed by a not-for-profit organization such as GSSSI, you may be eligible for the PSLF Program for student loans.
