Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Full Time - Licensed Clinician for our Providence Place program located in Jersey City, NJ. (Schedule: To Be Discussed with Hiring Manager.)Providence Place is a psychiatric community home for females, aged 15-17, referred from the State Children's System of Care.SCHEDULE:To Be Discussed with Hiring Manager - Flexible Schedule based on needs of the programThe Clinician will perform the following duties:Provide strength based psycho therapeutic interventions for the referred child and her family, focusing on treatment issues and needs identified by the referring systems of care entityComplete all clinical and administrative documentation within the timeframes specified by the program protocols and Medicaid requirementsProvide updated information to system partners as needed in order to insure coordination and continuity of careAnalyze client needs and process information into a plan of action that includes interventions consistent with best practices for the identified issues and populations served.Knowledge of the Children's System of Care and the related protocols and resources available to families and childrenEffectively work independently and as part of a team, professionally representing Catholic Charities when working in the field and with system partnersWork respectfully with parents and caretakers in the service of the childProactively plan for potentially difficult or crisis situations and identify and respond to risk and safety situations with sensitivity to the child and family stress as well as the legal and regulatory issues that may need to be addressedEngage children and families respectfully and manage a range of emotions and behaviors that might arise during home visits with client and personal safety in mindJOB REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in a behavioral health of social work disciplineMinimum one year experience in the provision of child/adolescent mental health servicesActive New Jersey LSW or LACValid Driver's license required.LPC, LCSW or PHD preferred.Visit our website ccannj.comCURRENT EMPLOYEES:Please be advised that current employees applying to open positions within the Agency are required to fill out an Agency Internal Job Application Form which is available for download to all employees on HR's public folders in Outlook.
