Completes provider credentialing and recredentialing of applications, monitors application and follow-up as needed to facilitate enrollment for Hospital and/ or Physicians. You would need to be familiar with Provider Enrollment requirements. CAQH Software, and have the ability to work independantly.$19/hr based on relative experience. This position is also eligible for quarterly bonuses based on productivity and QA.Shift time would be the following:Shift- 7:30-4 M-F ESTPrincipal Responsibilities:
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to research and analyze data
- Compiles and maintains current and accurate data of all providers
- Completes provider credentialing and recredentialing applications, monitors application and follows-up as needed.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers and Payers outside the organization.
- Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers
- Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process.
- Maintains confidentiality of provider information
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
- Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent relevant work experience desired.
- Previous insurance/medical billing/customer service experience preferred
- Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team fostered environment
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multitasked environment
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
