Sampson Regional Medical Center is looking for a Provider Recruiter to join the Professional Recruitment Department!Description:The selected applicant will be responsible for physician and advanced practitioner recruitment and retention withing the Sampson Regional System. The recruiter works independently but with the guidance of appropriate personnel and leadership. They will organize and execute all aspects of provider recruitment including position detailing, generating leads, screening candidates to match needs, and working up leads and arranging candidate interviews. Responsible for defining a recruitment strategy based on each specific opportunity and understanding of the business requirements, developing recruitment solutions to address unique talent needs and enhance pipeline development, assessing immediate and long-term need for providers and hospital services, and developing retention plans.Requirements:
- BS or BA in business, human resources, marketing, or a related field required
- One year of provider recruitment experience preferred
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Knowledge of online and physical recruitment tools
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and changes relevant to the recruitment of physicians
Hours:This is a salaried position. Typical schedule will me weekdays 8:00am - 5:00pm. May be required to work other hours for effective department operations. It is necessary to work some nights, weekends, and holidays to reach prospective physician candidates, conduct interviews, or manage special programs and events.Your Health, Our Passion!
