Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with an on-call weekend once a month.
Position Summary:
The Provider Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and adjusting the Medical Staff schedules. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* In conjunction with Provider Scheduling Manager and Associate Director, review Medical Staff schedules.
* Assists in building monthly schedules for all Medical Staff and keeps staff informed of all changes across 91 different locations, including 20 school districts, 6 Nursing homes, Assisted Living facilities, local hospitals and Occupational Health sites.
* Troubleshoots unplanned scheduling changes, averaging 25 schedule changes per day as a team.
* Tracks schedule change requests and reports.
* Process schedule changes in systems such as Schedule Source, Athena and the Answering Service as needed.
* Templates EMR appointment schedules accurately.
* Sends clear communications to internal department leaders, Nursing, Patient Services, etc. as well as external relationships.
* Generates on call schedules and error report review.
* Monitor vacation requests and maintain time off calendars in outlook.
* Participation in On-Call coverage for medical staff coverage as outlined in Provider Support On-Call process.
* Assist all Provider Support related functions as directed by Associate Director of Provider Scheduling, Provider Scheduling Manager, CMOs, COO and VP, Medical Staff Operations.
* Ability to multitask and manage tasks as assigned.

* Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential functions:
* High School Education and/or Associates in the healthcare field preferred.
* 2+ years administrative work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Excellent computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office products required. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain good working relationships with others.
* Exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with Provider matters.
The pay rate for this position is $19.00/hour
