The Inpatient Childrens Unit provides safe, secure behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents ages 5 to 17 that require acute inpatient level of care.Unit Size/Beds: 26 Expected Ratios: Days (3 RNs, 1:8), Eves (3 RNs 1:8), Nights (1 RN 1:26)Cases seen: Mood disorders, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorders, Suicidal ideation, Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADD, ADHD)

40 hours/week, 5*8 hour shifts (3p-11:30p), EOW, rotating holiday requirements, must be willing to float to adult unit to support facility as needed

Years of Exp preferred: Minimum 1 year recent psychiatric experience with child-adolescent population preferredCertifications required: CPI, AHA(BLS) CPR (hospital willing to provide on-site training)CT RN license required.
