Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Inpatient) State of the Art Facility Dartmouth, MA Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed for a full-time staff position at a 120-bed Inpatient hospital for adolescent and adult patients. Facility provides inpatient care to those who struggle with mental health issues. They provide treatment for individuals of all ages who are struggling with mood disorders that include depression and bipolar disorder. The Psychiatric APRN diagnoses, prescribes medication, monitors medication side effects and participates in the treatment process. Directs patient specific treatment, adheres to patient safety standards, assures patient rights, prevents and identifies abuse, and oversees quality of behavioral interventions. The staff of professionals includes psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, social workers, recreational therapists, registered nurses, and mental health technicians.
