Role Description

This is a contract role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at WorthyMind Psychiatry. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, the candidate will be responsible for providing mental health care and psychiatric care to patients. Their day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, prescribing medications, providing therapy, and collaborating with the team. This is a hybrid role, with the candidate expected to be located in Tarrytown, NY, but flexibility for some remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Mental Health Nursing and Nursing skills
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a mental health setting
• Knowledge of mental health care and psychiatric care
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a plus
