This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental health care of adolescents in a supportive, rehabilitative setting.Responsibilities:Conduct routine psychiatric assessments and follow-up evaluations for adolescent residents.Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, adjusting treatments as needed.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care.Attend regular mental health rounds and participate in care planning for residents.Respond to urgent psychiatric concerns when on-site and provide support for crisis management.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols.Qualifications:Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State.Minimum of one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.Experience working with adolescents or in a residential setting is preferred.
