We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months' prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.QualificationsActive Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of MarylandMust have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificateMust be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableMinimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting Available ShiftWeekday position (Monday-Friday Schedule) Day Shift AvailableCenturion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
