Looking for a part-time position as a Psychiatric RN? Join our team at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Center and provide direct care to adult patients with mental health and dual diagnosis substance use disorders. This 24-hour per week day shift position offers a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments
- Participate in treatment team conferences
- Implement nursing plan of care
- Evaluate patient's response to interventions
- Provide direct patient care according to physician's order
- Recognize changes in patients' status and revise care plan
- Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel
- Reflect ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
- Certified BLS Provider
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in acute care psychiatric setting preferred
- Leadership ability and MOAB training preferred
