Community Health based psychiatry treatment! We have an exciting new opportunity for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to work in our established non profit organization located in East Harlem NY. You would have an opportunity to enhance your skill set in psychiatry and work alongside the rest of our collaborative team. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and driven individual to be an integrative part of our team and organization. We offer a very flexible work schedule with no weekends and no on call. Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse Location: East Harlem NY Salary: $93,000 to $103,000 Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, PTO, CME credit, malpractice, 403b, sick leave, vacation, tuition reimbursement. Responsibilities: Educating clients about nutrition Giving IM Injections Improving patient quality of life and helping them get treatment from their primary care providers Bringing patients their medication and administering if appropriate Working closely with Psychiatrists and Psych NP's to provide care Document notes in EMR system Advising patients with medical co morbidity Requirements: Graduate of accredited Nursing Program Must have valid Registered Nurse license in NY state Highly preferred 1 year of psychiatric experience as an RN We will see new graduate RN's Accurate in documentation Strong people skills QualificationsAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
