- Valid license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine in Michigan
- DEA license to prescribe controlled substances
- Michigan Controlled Substance License
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certified (preferred) or Board Eligible
- Completed accredited psychiatric residency program
- Minimum one year psychiatric experience in a mental health clinic, correctional facility, or inpatient hospital
- Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork
- Independent decision-making skills in fast-paced settings
- Adherence to ethical and legal standards
