Part time and Per Diem Hospital-Employed Psychiatrists Needed for 16-Bed Inpatient Unit in Award-Winning Saratoga Springs, New York

Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Behavioral Health seeks part time and per diem psychiatrists to practice Psychiatry in an inpatient setting at Saratoga Hospital - to provide weekend or vacation coverage. We seek coverage with direct physician contracting (no locums firms.) Must be NYS licensed.

Compensation is $200/hourly.

Our program is designed to have coverage of the 16-bed inpatient unit and consultations within our 171-bed hospital with many newly or recently renovated units. Our inpatient unit is recently renovated and is well-staffed with RNs, social workers, and support staff. Psychiatry staff enjoys an exceptional collaborative relationship with our hospitalist group. The unit provides an multidisciplinary approach to care in therapeutic milieu.

Psychiatrists are part of a collegial team that includes the psychiatrists in the hospital, at the Saratoga Community Health Center and Saratoga County Mental Health. Psychiatrists work closely across the system with physicians and advanced practitioners in our primary care and specialty network as part of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group.

Psychiatrists and Advanced Practice Providers at all locations provide coverage of the Saratoga Hospital 16-bed adult inpatient mental health unit. Call is paid and approximately 1:10, taken evenings by phone with rounding on weekends.

Our full time compensation range is approximately $260K to $300K, we currently have a full time outpatient opportunity available. The compensation and benefit package is competitive and comprehensive.
