What Will you Do?As a Psychometry Internship Coordinator at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. You'll be responsible for participating in a six-month minimum position assisting the psychometry team with administering various types of tests. Tests include cognitive ability, achievement, and personality inventories, among others. The Psychometrist Internship Coordinator may also perform other administrative tasks, including test scoring and data entry, scanning, and training interns. The Psychometry Internship Coordinator must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- May administer and score assigned psychological and neuropsychological testing following established standardization protocols.
- Use behavioral management and other clinical skills to manage patients with neurological dysfunction and/or psychiatric symptoms.
- Creates a customer-friendly environment. Establishes/maintains mutually constructive relationships with customer (both internal and external).
- Facilitates and adheres to procedural guidelines to provide a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
- May maintain up-to-date record keeping systems, including data collection, data analysis and tracking related activity.
- Complies with internal and external policy.
- Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity and professional excellence.
- Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.
What Does the Role Require?Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required Internship or equitable experience required.
- College level math/statistical skills (as needed to support testing/scoring activities).
- Psychometry internship program experience preferred.
- Board Certification as a Psychometrist preferred.
- Previous experience working with patients with behavioral health or neurological conditions preferred.
