Salary: $16.00 Hourly Location : Sedona Center, AZ Job Type: Casual Part Time (Less than 20 hours/week) Job Number: 2024-00073 Department: Community Education - Prescott Opening Date: 10/02/2024 Description of PositionHiring Rate: $16Location: Sedona Center and potentially one day a week at the Clarkdale Campus. Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-2pm. Provide customer service and administrative functions including technology support for classrooms, assisting with social media, registration, orientation for new members, data entry, production of support materials that support the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) membership. Customer service which includes registration, orientation, and training (includes phone registration) Technology Support in Classrooms Data entry Reproduction of support materials (photocopying) Provide administrative support to all OLLI staff and program Other related duties as assigned This is a temporary part-time position working 0 - 19.75 hours per week as scheduled Location: Sedona Center and potentially one day a week at the Clarkdale Campus. Typical schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-2pm. Minimum Expectations & Requirements High school diploma or GED Two years of related office work experience Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills (in writing, spelling,listening, speaking, and providing direction/guidance) Ability to work with diverse student populations of all ages Ability to exercise effective multi-tasking and time management techniques Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to manage office equipment including copy machines, printers, etc. Preferred Skills & Abilities Associates degree Marketing/Social Media Experience Basic HTML/Website updating skills Experience working with/enrolled in Lifelong Learning programs Ability to teach computer skills to adults inexperienced in technology Work experience in a community college/higher education environment Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LEAVE BENEFITS

  • Spanish Interpreter Incentive Program: Employees interested in additional compensation for their Spanish speaking skills agree to assist YC by attending two recruiting events and being available for Spanish Interpretation needs as they arise. Compensation is added to the employee's regular pay at the rate of $175 per month. Employees that are interested in participating let your HR Business partner know, so they can schedule you for the ACTFL language proficiency test at the YC testing center.
  • Direct Deposit: Paychecks deposited directly into the employee's bank account(s)
  • Tuition Waiver: Eligible Full-time Faculty and Staff may enroll up to 6 hours; eligible dependents may enroll in a partial or full program of course work without payment of tuition, exceptions may be lab fees and market based additional fees
  • Sabbatical: Faculty, professional and administrative staff may apply for compensated leave of up to a year after six years of continuous service
