HOUSE MANAGER
Responsibilities include supervising activities and assisting guests during rentals, special events and shows; many times opening prior to and closing and at the conclusion of scheduled events. House Manager serves as the Manager on Duty in the absence of full time staff members. Also provides Front of House assistance during BPACC's regular season of shows. Direct experience working in the performing arts/entertainment or hospitality fields is a plus but not mandatory. Primary functions require good customer service skills and ease when interacting with the public. House Managers are scheduled to work on an as-needed basis with the majority of events being held on nights and weekends. House Managers are responsible for the safety of BPACC clients and their guests while on BPACC property. They should act courteously and professionally with the public at all times while also enforcing facility policies. This position requires skills in listening, message taking and ability to work cooperatively with the public and other City employees. Direct experience dealing with the public, especially in a facility/performing arts center setting is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license that must remain valid as a condition of continued employment. Some college preferred but not required. Will be required to work flexible hours primarily during the evenings and on weekends. Applicant must pass a background and driver's license check and a physical exam, including a drug test. Bartlett resident preferred, but not required. Will work in a non-smoking work environment.
