Needs availability for nights and weekends.Application deadline - February 14, 2025Note that all correspondence will be via email.JOB INFORMATIONGeneral Statement of DutiesResponsible for supervision of the concession stand it employees.Also, does inventory, reports, and scheduling of workers. Keeps accurate recording of daily monies and daily sales.Distinguishing Features of the PositionThis employee will be required to understand all the operations of the concession stand and Lowe Complex, including supervision, operations of all concession equipment, inventory of goods, and making decision on all aspects of the concession stand. Responsible to cooperate with the standards set by the Parks and Rec Recreation/Aquatics Coordinator. Also, will be prompt to work, uphold superior public relations with guests at the facility and the ability to work with fellow employees.Qualifications* Current CPR and First Aid desired* At least 2 years' experience in facility operations* AT least 18 years of age* Be in good physical condition and neat in appearance. Be totally honest, responsible, reliable, dependable, and able to work in a courteous and helpful manner with persons of all ages* Must hold valid driver's license and possess current vehicle insuranceDuties (Illustrative)* Overall responsible for the safety and sanitation of the concession stands* Conduct staff in-service meetings* Prepare work schedule (season and weekly for each tournament weekend)* Attendance at all appropriate meetings* Prepare evaluations of concession workers and cashiers* Assists all staff members with daily operations of the facility* Any other duties assigned by the Recreation/Aquatics Coordinator* Inform Recreation/Aquatics Coordinator of any employee misconduct, tardiness or discourtesy.* Supervision of concession/cashier alertness promptness and firm consistent rule enforcement in food preparation, admittance of guests and cash handling procedures.* Make daily inspections of facility and food* Prepare report for ordering inventory* Check change of concession/cashiers throughout the shiftConcessions: Fridges, freezers, sinks, eating area, concession equipment etc., appropriate starting money and cash register.Cashier: Clean entrance and counters, appropriate starting money, and all needed equipmentReports & Inventory Control* Oversees inventory control* Conducts year-end evaluations* Comply with safe food handling and procedures laid out by Department of Health* Temperature sheets, utensilsThe employee in this position must frequently lift, push, pull, climb, turn, reel, crouch, crawl, reach, twist, stand, walk, sit, hear, and see. All physical demands such as hearing, and smell may occasionally be used for safety reasons.
