Tillie Lake Veterinary Clinic

Location: all cities,WI, USA

Job Description:

Company Description

Tillie Lake Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice in Slinger, WI. We are dedicated to serving our patients', clients', and community's needs.

We just opened our brand new, 6700 sq. ft. building, and we are looking to welcome another FT or PT Veterinarian to our amazing team.

We currently have 3 DVMs with over 10 years of experience each. Our DVMs are easy going, very personable, easy to work with, and willing to mentor, if needed.

We currently have a fantastic team of 4 CVTs, several technicians and assistants, a pharmacy technician, and an amazing crew of CSRs.

We try to utilize our team to their fullest abilities to ensure our doctors are able to focus on their own responsibilities, and also to ensure our support staff are fulfilled in their own roles within our clinic.

We have full in-house lab (IDEXX), digital radiology and dental radiology, therapeutic laser, Phovia, two dental areas, and two surgical suites.

While we primarily practice Western medicine, one of our doctors is also certified in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. We also practice fear free and low stress handling and techniques, and we even have a separate entrance for our canine and feline patients, with 2 feline only exam rooms, and 4 canine exam rooms.

We also have a comfort room with a separate entrance, and a tranquil outdoor comfort area.

We try to provide our staff with a good work-life harmony, and our FT staff is scheduled for an average of 36 hours/week.

We are not open nights or holidays, and we do not do on-call or after hours emergencies.

Our normal business hours are:

Monday 8-530

Tuesday 8-7

Wednesday, 8-530

Thursday 8-530

Friday 8-5

Saturday 8-12

We only have 1 DVM on Saturdays, so each doctor currently works every 3rd Saturday. New hires will also be required to join the Saturday rotation, but that will only space the Saturdays worked out even more.

We are closed all major holidays, and we often extend holiday weekends to give our staff time to relax and recharge with their loved ones. We have been doing this for years, and our clients are well accustomed to it.

We have a wonderful, well established client base, and we are continuing to grow by over 50 new clients/month.

With our current growth, we can easily support another full time DVM, or two part time DVMs.

While an experienced DVM would be ideal, we are absolutely willing to bring in new(er) DVMs to mentor and help build their skills, so new grads are welcome to apply!

Qualifications

  • Medical Examination, Diagnosis, and Surgical Procedure skills
  • Prescription of Medications and Treatment Plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
