This role requires a strong background in pelvic floor therapy, and the ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program. Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for patient care, conducting thorough evaluations and accurately interpreting findings.
- Develop written plans of care, establish goals based on evaluation findings, and create comprehensive programs to achieve those goals.
- Implement physical therapy treatment programs, demonstrating competence in advanced physical therapy skills.
- Assess patients regularly to monitor progress towards treatment goals and adjust goals, plans, or programs as necessary.
- Motivate and instruct patients/caregivers using effective methods.
- Effectively communicate with patients/caregivers, professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
- Manage time effectively, documenting appropriately in the medical record, and completing other documentation duties accurately and efficiently.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and clinical instructor to staff, students, and the community.
- Actively pursue clinical expertise in specific treatment techniques or the management of a particular patient population.
- Participate in organized system/facility/departmental committees and task forces.
- Present relevant special topics in professional literature at various forums.
- Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.
