Annual Security Report Notice

The PT paraprofessional is a per-diem physician assistant educator who utilizes their clinical practice expertise to collaborate with full-time faculty to provide a more robust educational experience for physician assistant students.
Position Duties
* Assisting course coordinators in teaching clinical or procedural skills to students.
* Preparing and delivering lectures in the area of clinical expertise.
* Participating in formative and summative assessments of students.
* Providing thoughtful feedback on student work and assisting in interviewing prospective student candidates.
* Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Position Qualifications
* Master's Degree required.
* At least 1 year of clinical practice is required.
* Current NCCPA certification required.
* Current NYS PA Licensure required.
* Prior experience in teaching Physician Assistant students is preferred.
Work Hours
20 hours per week - generally Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM; hours may vary. This is an on-call assignment and shifts are scheduled through the course coordinators weeks to months in advance.
