The McShane Clinic at Pace University seeks a part-time in-house supervisor to coordinate and oversee a cooperative training placement with Trinity Church. The position is contracted for 10 hours per week/1-2 days a week. Anticipated placement day is Thursday with additional hours on Fridays.

The position involves supervising doctoral students providing evidence-based psychotherapy for Trinity Referred patients. The patient population is a highly diverse community sample that includes children and adults (both group and individual).

Therapy is funded by Trinity and provided at no cost to patients. They are providing to patients, which can include children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Qualifications include New York State licensure, supervisory experience, and a focus on evidence-based approaches.

The position has the potential to expand; program development is potentially available. The McShane Center is the clinical training site for the APA-accredited PsyD program in School and Clinical Child Psychology and a newly established PhD in Clinical Psychology (Health Emphasis) at Pace University. The Thomas J. McShane Center for Psychological Services is located at the Pace University New York City Campus.

As the training clinic for a well-established psychology training program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), our goal is to remove barriers to care by providing high-quality, evidence-based treatments at an affordable rate to meet the needs of all community members.

Qualifications include New York State licensure, supervisory experience, and a focus on evidence-based approaches.
