Be attentive, motivating, and create a positive and safe learning environment for all your students. Complete all Water Safety Instructor paperwork by a predetermined date so cards can be distributed on the final day of the session. Be to work fifteen minutes before class start to set pool lane lines, put in tot docks, assemble equipment and greet students. Return pool to the regular configuration at the end of shift. All equipment should be put away. Enforce all pool rules and know the emergency action plan. See that all children are safe and leave with their guardians. Attend all instructor meetings and training sessions, and other duties as assigned by management. Assist with lifeguard in-service training.
