The Parma campus of Bryant & Stratton College is seeking an adjunct professor to teach Orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation course during the Fall Term 2024 (September-December).
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the lead instructor for lab and lecture sections of a 3 credit Physical Therapist Assistant Orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Rehabiliation course. Total of 5 contact hours (2 lecture, 3 lab)
+ Facilitate student progress in achieving theory and performance requirements of the course content.
+ Develop relevant and evidence-based coursework to facilitate best practice, meet student learning outcomes and national accreditation standards.
+ Assure appropriate course-level rigor in class instruction and assessment methodologies consistent with the college, and national accreditation standards.
+ Establish and maintain a classroom climate consistent with the Colleges values and educational commitment.
+ Ensure instructional success and model lifelong learning through continuous professional development.
+ Strong team player, and ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment.
**Qualifications:**
+ Masters Degree or higher required, in the field of physical therapy preferred.
+ Current PT or PTA license in OH required.
+ Teaching experience at the high school or college level preferred
+ Effective evaluation and leadership in student learning and laboratory performance.
+ Strong clinical background and/or ABPTS specialist certification in Orthopedics preferred.
+ Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success.
+ Demonstrated commitment to continuous curriculum enhancement and application of best practices.
