Due to our continuing growth, our client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to joining its team. You will be servicing clients in a variety of industries. Your client activities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements; review of financial statements for suitability of presentation and accuracy of disclosures
- Preparation of workpapers; review of workpapers for accuracy and completeness
- Preparation of business and individual tax returns
- Coordinate engagement workflow
- Preparation of financial statements
- Tax Planning
- Business and personal financial planning
- Oversee maintenance and analysis of the general ledger (prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etc.)
- Ensure books and financials are in accordance with GAAP or other required accounting standards
- Ensure accurate, timely and well documented month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and financial statement preparation
- Proactively build relationships with clients, and communicate effectively with them, in an ongoing effort to deliver superior client service
- Mentor and train junior staff members
- Various special projects
