POSITION PURPOSE:The Public Area Cleaner is responsible to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the common areas by ensuring they are properly supplied and free of maintenance problems in accordance with the standards. To clean and maintain all public areas (i.e. hotel lobby, restrooms, heart of the house) in impeccable condition in accordance with Trump Hotel Las Vegas standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Toughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, walls, vents and floors with specifically assigned cleaning agents. Restock amenities and supplies. Dispose of trash. Clean associates locker room.
- Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of the day.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, frames, mirrors, exit signs and air vents. Clean all windows and vacuum public areas. Remove dust, grease and smears from house phones. Replace damaged items.
- Vacuum and dispose of trash in office areas.
- Polish fixtures and vacuum elevators. Clean ashtrays.
- Cleaning guest room when needed.
- Assisting delivering guest requests.
- Mop floors in all public areas
- Shine shoes as requested
- Must be able to change furniture.
- Must be able to cover the following areas: Back of the House, Pool Area, and Meeting Rooms
- Any and all housekeeping responsibilities as determined by Housekeeping Leadership team.
- High dusting in the following areas lobby and exterior of the hotel
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:EDUCATIONHigh School graduate or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCEPrevious experience preferred. Must be able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
