The City of Bangor is searching for its next Public Engagement Specialist. This position works closely with the City Manager's Office, city departments and staff, and the City Council to help support communication including but not limited to the administration and maintenance of the City's website, social media accounts, citizen request management system, government channel, and more! Desired Experience
* Education and/or relevant training and experience in the field of information and technology including thorough understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications.
* Working knowledge of Internet Web Site Development, developing and designing social media designs, GIS integration with websites, Mobile Technology (phones and tablets), and Website Content Management Systems.

This position's full salary range is $23.74 to $31.94 per hour and is nonexempt, hourly and is located on site and may require occasional nights and weekends.
