This position provides professional clinic nursing services to adults and children in various settings that include walk-in clinics for sexually transmitted diseases, family planning, and child health or specialty clinics such as the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) or Wise Woman Program. Must be willing to cross train in all clinic settings. Duties include administering immunizations and medications (oral and injections); obtaining medical histories; place and read TB skin test; providing detailed health education and follow-up on communicable diseases, child health, and other programs; conducting pre-counseling and post-counseling patient interviews; and documenting in the electronic medical records.New Hanover County's Consolidated Human Services Agency is a single county agency that provides any combination of Public Health and Social Services throughout the county. Hours:Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Must be available to work during emergency situations. Late clinic hours on Tuesday once a month until 7pm.Salary Information:Thehiring range for this position is $59,168 - $79,877. Salary will be determined based on qualifications, internal equity, budget, and market considerations. - Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- OR Associate's Degree in Nursing
- OR graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
