1. Contract Service

2. Media Relations

Press Releases

1. Writing and distributing press releases to local media outlets regarding school events, achievements, and other important news.

Media Liaison

1. Acting as the primary point of contact for journalists.

2. Managing media inquiries.

Crisis Communication

1. Developing and executing communication strategies during crises or emergencies.

2. Ensuring accurate information is shared with the public.

3. Utilizing KASB resources as needed.

3. Internal Communications (As Needed)

4. District Messaging

Ensuring consistent messaging across internal platforms, such as emails, bulletins, and staff portals.

Collaborating with the superintendent.

5. Community Relations

6. Community Engagement

Supporting administration and staff in building and maintaining positive relationships with community organizations, parents, and other stakeholders.

7. Public Events

Assisting in planning and promoting district events such as board meetings, community forums, and school performances.

8. Social Media Management

Content Creation

1. Creating and curating content for the districts social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

9. Social Media Monitoring

Monitoring online conversations about the district.

Responding to comments or inquiries in a timely manner.

10. Engagement Analytics

Analyzing social media metrics.

Adjusting communication strategies based on analytics.

11. Website/Mobile App Management

Website Content

1. Maintaining and updating the districts website with news, announcements, and event calendars.

12. School District Calendar

Keeping the district calendar updated.

13. User Experience

Ensuring the website is user-friendly and accessible to all stakeholders (students, parents, staff).

Ensuring state-required information is available on the website.

14. Brand Management

District Branding

1. Managing the districts brand identity, including logos, colors, and messaging across communication platforms.

15. Reputation Management

Monitoring and protecting the districts reputation.

Addressing negative publicity and promoting positive stories.

16. Publications and Marketing

School District Calendar

1. Keeping the district calendar updated.

17. Newsletters and Brochures

1. Designing and distributing newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials to promote district programs and initiatives.
