Position/Title: Publicist & Account Manager

About The Role: Howdy! Painting Pictures is searching for a talented publicist to join this small but mighty (and fast-growing) agency.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, with flexibility for remote work as a Publicist & Account Manager at Painting Pictures. There is potential for relocation assistance, for the right candidate.

As a full-service PR and creative communications agency, we are looking for a rising PR superstar hungry to continue their professional growth, expand their rolodex of media contacts, frequently pitch press, create cool content, and ultimately manage their own client accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in PR and communications with a proven track record of positive results and client wins
• Ability to work full-time in Austin, Texas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to create complex plans and support PR campaigns from concept to completion
• Ability to draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, bios, and pitches
• Ability to build and maintain contact lists, while exploring new opportunities to foster relationships
• Ability to successfully multitask to manage complex and fast-moving problems, and oversee multiple client projects simultaneously
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining open communication with team members and clients
• Ability to travel to work onsite at various client events, including outside the state
• Ability to conduct yourself professionally and respectively, including while on social media
