Assumes responsibility for providing a safe and secure atmosphere for patrons and employees of the organization at the hospital campus and Malta Med Emergent Care. Primary Job Responsibilities: Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to deter criminal acts and to report unsafe condition as per the requirements and procedures defined in the department s policy and procedure manual. Responds to all codes according to hospital policy. Assists in controlling disorderly/combative persons in cases of an emergency as per the hospital s code policies and procedures. During emergencies and other situations, selects priorities to be completed accordingly. Enforces traffic and parking regulations per the parking management plan. Issues parking violations to illegally parked vehicles on hospital property as required.
