Public Safety Officer (Security Officer)
: Job Details :

To provide security for patients, visitors and employees. Protect the assets of the Hospital including the buildings and property of Cape Cod Hospital. To enforce all applicable policies, rules, and regulations of the Hospital .. Patrol Hospital buildings and grounds, to protect against fire, theft, illegal entry, infractions of safety regulations and other irregularities. 2. Insure the security and safety of Hospital properties, employees, equipment and records, as well as, all physical aspects of the property including parking lots and motor vehicles. 3. Participate in investigations, maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documents pertinent to security activities accurately and completely. 4. Investigate disturbances and in the event of emergency, take charge of policing to maintain order, safety and to protect property. 5. Respond to emergency situations such as accidents and injuries crimes and safety hazards.
