Location: all cities,VA, USA
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Repairs and services (includes testing) fire hydrants;
* Locates underground utilities using maps, rods, and electronic equipment;
* Assists in preventative maintenance on water and sewer lines;
* Reads water meters, entering data into portable handheld meter reading devices;
* Checks meters for leaks, repairs as needed;
* Installs and removes meters;
* Assists in repairs of water and sewer lines;
* Inspects lift stations and assists with preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, and equipment;
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
* Some related experience in the construction/plumbing industry is preferred.
* Valid driver's license required
* Ability to obtain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement within 9 months of start date
