Reports to Director of Public and Meeting SpacesJob Summary - The general responsibility of the Public and Meeting Spaces Attendant is to maintain the cleanliness of all staff and guest areas of Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center and assist with the daily operations of Lodging Services. Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning windows, mirrors, furniture, bathrooms, appliances, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping to the standards set by your supervisor.
- Attending training sessions as scheduled by your supervisor.
- Cleaning and maintaining all public space areas and conference rooms.
- Cleaning and maintaining staff areas.
- Make the needs of guests and staff your priority.
- Eliminate all hazards to our guests, employees, and properties.
- Practice and promote energy conservation.
- Keep closets stocked properly with adequate supplies.
- Maintain and store all equipment properly.
- Accept all miscellaneous assignments from supervisor.
- Help in other departments when needed and approved by supervisor.

- Experience in general custodial procedures preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and details.
- Must be able to drive fleet vehicles (ex. Passenger van, Cargo van, golf cart).
- Possess a desire and ability to work in a camp setting utilizing skills for ministry.
Physical
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and completely extend arms in all directions for 30-40 hours per week, to perform custodial duties.
- Ability to lift, carry and load items weighing 25 pounds and place them onto a platform 5' high.
- Ability to abstain from use of tobacco products, alcohol, and controlled substances.
- Ability to listen for, answer, and respond to radio calls for Public Space issues
