We are currently seeking a Global Oncology Medical Affairs (GOMA) Publications Intern for summer 2025. This full time position works for approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Daiichi Sankyo Inc's Oncology Publications team within Global Oncology Medical Affairs (GOMA) is seeking a Publications Systems and Operations Intern to work closely with the Director of Publications Operations to optimize department resources for delivery of high-quality medical publications in an efficient and compliant manner. They will assist in the operation and governance of iEnvision, an internal global publications database system, as well as help develop needed training materials. This individual will be responsible for auditing the system, running metrics, and ensuring compliance with SOP and good publications practices. They should be technologically savvy and have an interest in tailoring existing departmental content to be more user friendly (think accessibility, templates, URLs, automation) to reduce the administrative burden of Publication Leads. Education/Experience:
• Proficient in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).• Individual should be technologically savvy• The individual must be a team player with excellent writing, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.• Ability to identify issues and seek solutions• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in support of cross-functional partnership across GOMA• Fluent in English• Must be willing to comply with all regulatory/compliance policies.• Interest in Pharma industry
Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program with a concentration in communications or related field. Prior experience in a corporate business environment is preferred; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
