The Effingham Daily News and the Shelbyville Daily Union are seeking a high-energy, experienced newspaper professional who can help lead our teams with vigor and vision. The Effingham Daily News is a six-day per week 10,000 circulation newspaper that serves a six-county area, and the Shelbyville Daily Union publishes twice weekly with nearly 2,000 circulation in Central Illinois.Key Responsibilities:Ensure profitability of each product line by achieving both revenue and expense targets.Seek out and implement efficient and effective operations through all departments.Continuously challenge situations and make intelligent changes to foster a successful environment.Develop, recommend, and implement marketing strategies to maximize the newspapers' share of the total market.Provide timely recognition of trends in the market to maximize gains and/or minimize losses.Qualifications:Proven leadership with a track record of meeting revenue targets.Management experience in the newspaper industry.Strong organizational and communication skills.Creative approach in revenue development with an emphasis on customer service.Interested candidates should send their resume, a cover letter explaining why they are qualified for the position, and salary requirements to CNHI Human Resources at resumes@.#J-18808-Ljbffr
