Location: Shreveport,LA, USA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair ITT Pump products, including various pump types (Centrifugal, double suction, end suction, horizontal split pumps, etc.). Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment for troubleshooting, teardown, and repair tasks. Read and interpret complex drawings and diagrams to review specifications. Follow machine shop procedures to ensure safe and efficient repair processes. Use scales, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately. Collaborate with the shop foreman and other team members to ensure high-quality work and meet project timelines. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Pump Mechanic or similar role, with a minimum of [2] years in the field. Strong knowledge of ITT Pump products and their components. Proficiency in the use of various tools and equipment required for pump troubleshooting and repair. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with machine shop procedures and safety protocols. Valid driver's license and the ability to operate machinery like overhead cranes and forklifts safely. Preferred: Skilled in using scales, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
