The Pump Operator works alongside the rig or HCU crew with responsibility in respect to the on site fluid pump. This includes but is not limited to rig up/down, operation of the pump, and basic maintenance of DWS owned or leased pumping equipment.DutiesRig up/down of pumping equipment on customer locations. Including, hoses, pump iron, cabling, grounding, etc.Operating pumping equipment. Functioning of valves, bleed offs, and pumps in a safe, efficient manner.Knowledge of the direction and pressure of flow lines. Properly releasing and containing pressure at appropriate times.Taking ownership of DWS equipment. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and stored in an acceptable manner.Maintain equipment appropriately. Able to check/maintain appropriate fluid levels, filter systems and lubrication.Maintain a clean work area free from spills, leaks, clutter, or other housekeeping concerns.Ability to operate forklift and aerial lift in an effective and safe mannerMaintain clear, effective communication with the crew. Ensuring awareness of pressure location and valve positioning.Before beginning any task ensure that any hazardous energy is isolated, tagged and locked out and key(s) are kept with anyone involved in the task.
