Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What is a Progressive Punch Press? Progressive Die metal stamping allows machines to operate on a continuous cycle and produce a part with every stroke of the punch press machine without interruption. With the punch press thousands to millions of the exact same part could be manufactured quickly and efficiently. The material is fed into the punch press, and through the progressive die, in exact increments, or progressions. Every stroke of the press feeds the same length of material. The speed at which progressive dies smash out parts can be lightning fast, to slow and deliberate, with each part being an exact duplicate of the part before. In this role, you will: Operate and set up Punch Press machines Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards Other duties as assigned To succeed in this role, you must: Accurately use set up tools, feeders, coilers, and coil straighteners Inspect and record part dimensions Troubleshoot causes when parts do not conform to specs Unload and package finished parts Have good math ability and problem solving skills Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently.
