About the Role:
Set up and run punch press, inspect, and pack parts produced to schedule. Make minor adjustments to the punch press. Maintain 5S in the assigned area. Report daily production and scrap and scan and stage production. Work with employees to resolve production barriers. Other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Calibrate machine speed variance based on material specification.
* Ability to use hand tools to make minor machine adjustments.
* Maintain 5S in work space
* Ability to operate and understand machine panels.
* Work with maintenance team to ensure machine is operating at optimal performance.
* Operate overhead crane
* Forklift certification - Move and load metal coils and dump scrap material.
* Assist team in attaining production goals established by management.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Problem-solving skills
* Basic math skills including taking measurements.
* Adhere to IPS Safety Tenants
Education and Experience:
* Diploma or GED equivalent
* Ability to read and write English and comprehend detailed instructions.
