In short, BLUROC goes the extra mile to ensure our clients' projects are successful Position Description The Purchase Order Analyst is responsible for researching purchases, the analysis of outstanding purchase orders and the processing of daily purchase orders for all job. The successful candidate will also need to maintain and track when purchase orders need to be closed and process in a timely manner. This position will report to the Procurement Manager. Responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation of outstanding open purchase orders which includes
- remaining balances, conversations and program identification
- Provide reports on all purchase orders created and issued
- Analyze Outstanding Purchase Order Report on a weekly basis
- Ensure contact is made with all vendors on purchase orders created and
- Issued to confirm receipt of purchase orders
- Ensure all contact with vendors are documented
- Ensure that purchase orders are opened/closed timely
- Establish and maintain needed records and files
- Recommends changes in procedures, methods and policy for improved
- Efficiency in procurement techniques;
- Maintain liaison with vendors and the purchasing agent on prices and errors
- Display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with staff,
- Vendors and outside agencies associated with the purchases
- Perform related duties as assigned
QualificationsPosition Requirements
- High School diploma/Associates Degree in business administration oraccounting; or 2+ years related work experience.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational/interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication, anattention to detail
- Utilizing databases/systems to review and verify documentation and information.
- Communicating potential concerns or delays.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specificsoftware applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
