Reports To: VP of SB Maintenance

Position Summary: Purchase parts, tools, supplies, or services necessary for the proper functioning at all Fullington Locations. This will include sourcing and looking for the best price before placing orders.

  • Purchase the highest quality parts and services within assigned budgetary restrictions and in the correct amounts required.
  • Purchasing parts, accessories, tools, fluids, cleaning/office supplies, etc. for multiple location transportation company
  • Organization and management of large-scale inventory
  • Completion and monitoring of current purchase order system
  • Responsible for proper receipt and delivery of parts throughout all locations
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current and future vendors
  • Interact with UPS and other shipping service to ensure parts get efficiently and cost effectively distributed throughout the organization
  • Ensure best pricing by competitively shopping for all purchases
  • Track all core returns for proper credit
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of parts department
  • Prepare purchase orders, and review requisitions for goods and services
  • Monitor shipments to ensure goods arrive timely and resolve problems related to undelivered goods
  • Review inventory levels of current stock to determine part needs so that access to routine supplies is sufficient
  • Pick up parts from suppliers as necessary
  • Help maintain a safe working environment and interact with OSHA representatives

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One to two years related experience
