For further information, please visit the following links: and PLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.What will be your main missions?Our North America (NAO) Division team is looking for a Purchasing Buyer VIE to be based at its tech center at Columbus, Indiana, USA.The Commodity Buyer VIE is responsible for deploying the commodity strategy for its assigned commodities. The role of the Commodity Buyer VIE is to manage relationship / negotiation with suppliers, pilot the utilization of supplier panel in programs and series production during sourcing, and ensure supplier performance.The main missions of the role are:o Structure the panel o Participate in the definition and the implementation of purchasing panel policy for assigned commoditieso Manage supplier selection of his/her segment/s of the commodity and deploys it within the regiono Manage relationship / negotiation with his/her suppliers supported by the Division / Region Commodity Managero Ensure that the strategic panel is implemented in the Development phase (Supplier Nomination Committees)o Manage and drive productivity action planso Fix the rules of productivity sharing between the suppliers and Faureciao Manage and drive supplier quality and delivery performanceo Manage insolvencies of suppliers and steer corrective action planThe mission will last 18 months.Your profile and competencies to succeedWhat you need to join us?

  • Master's degree/Engineering diploma in purchasing
  • Purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)
