Our 3000-strong global team members are proud of the innovative solutions we provide our customers and our commitment to being carbon neutral by 2030.You'll join a diverse and inclusive team contributing across more than 100 unique professions and trades.What's the Role:As an experienced Purchasing Coordinator, the role is to ensure all customer orders are scheduled and dispatched in an efficient manner to ensure conformance with our customers. You achieve results and drive change, using data insights to deliver better purchasing and freight distribution decisions. Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, you will steer enhancements and changes in distribution processes and systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the process.With excellent attention to detail, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of detailed records as required such as production bookings, schedules, and all communication with both internal and external customers. You will have outstanding communication and coordination skills liaising with Freight Forwarders to ensure the efficiency of process and timeliness of communications to provide feedback to stakeholders on shipping movements.In addition, this role will require compilations of production schedules and daily work bookings as well as lead time reports, purchase orders, and other reporting records required.Key Technical Criteria:Previous experience working in a busy high-volume production/manufacturing/industrial environment, or similar.Current forklift license.A strong communicator with a passion for continuous improvement.Experience with Scheduling & Planning or strong coordination abilities.Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.Experience/exposure to databases and SharePoint would be desirable.This role is based in Wundowie.Why join our team at Bradken?Safety first environment and mindset.Flexible work options.Competitive Total Reward Packages.Global and local recognition programs.Paid Parental Leave.Learning and Development focus.Education assistance.EAP for you and your family.Community Involvement program.If you'd like to be part of a team that's changing the game, please apply along with your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting why this should be your next role.
