Salary Range: $100,000 to $140,000

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.

THE PURCHASING TEAM Cupertino Electric's Purchasing Team manages all equipment and materials purchases for both job sites and corporate expenditures.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Scope: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

Complexity: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.

Discretion: Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Interaction: Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers.

Supervision: Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department.

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager who will be in charge of managing the Procure to Pay purchasing activities, for direct and indirect categories, in support of operations and corporate services.

ABOUT YOU You are a supply chain and procurement whiz with a natural ability to juggle different priorities, while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN As a Purchasing Manager at Cupertino Electric, you will manage, but most importantly, optimize all purchasing activities and processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: None required. CPM preferred.

Experience: Typically requires a combination of 8 years of related experience, knowledge of electrical material used in construction, and experience working with an electrical contractor or electrical distributor.
